Thanks. She is really nice and thoughtfull.
Regarding the other "usefull", contructive and, dare I say, inteligent comment's from the previous posts, I'll just quote myself:

I'd rathher pay for things in the in-game store like miniatures or /bonusitems or things like those that for merchandise.
I never buy material things that depict fictional characters or merchandise with logos or pictures from something. My muse pad is just black, no designs.
My room is quite... empty. And all my clothings are just like... well... no logos, no drawings, no lines... just plain colors. My walls are white and clean excepting a cork board...
Not a single sign of what are my tastes, excepting a couple of pinned pictures in the cork board...
Isn't it better that way? So... sterile... hm... nice...

Dear Gaile and ANet,
This year I would like a bumper sticker for my car.
Similar to how every surfer-wannabe has an 'OBX' sticker....
I want one that says 'FOW' so I can look leet on the road.

anyway, i definately think that posters, stickers and the like would be most appreciated. waiting for the day i can have a life-sized poster of a charr on my wall. plus, plushies/mini figures would be a nice collector item to have.
I think its nice to see that ANET is asking the community as a whole what they want, rather than a few select people. +1 awesomeness Gaile.

It's not sad, it's a choice that happens to be similar to my own decor (except for the bulletin board).
If I had a t-shirt with the GW logo all over it, I wouldn't buy it. I personally don't like to much advertising for something that should say who I am, not from where the attire came from.
And even if I wouldn't be far away from merchandise acquisition, I would prefer to buy in-game goodies than physical stuff.
If Anet cannot handle a solid merchandise system (the price of 1st generation Ipod is silly) then T-shirts and other neat stuff should be limited to promotions and sold at appropriated moments in time, like new expansions and such.

THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT
a lot of people that play guild wars have social lives ( at least i hope i'm not the only one lol), so if you make clothing, at least include some that are only a logo with no words.
so no huge "Guild Wars" on all of them
some funny ones would be ok
but I wanna just see a logo, like a guild cape sign on the back, or the kurzic/luxon logos or any of the other factions
my friend who plays WoW has a horde hoddie that is just a large logo, so people don't instantly assume he is a geek, beacuse they don;t recognize the logo.

I went for action figure, beanie, maps, and posters. My walls are a bit bland and could use some decoration. The beanie would be pretty cool. And the figure would be hella-tite.

I want a stuffed Charr!!! If he were well done, like Pyre or mini Charrs, I would pay for that. Not sure how you'd make a plushie of one, but I'd like a Rotscale, too.
TShirts and Sweatshirts are also things I might buy.
Really, it would all depend on how well they're done. As for the shirts, my personal tastes lean towards subtle, smaller designs over bigger, flashier ones. Would be nice to have a range of such styles available.
